Barrier Beach Management Team

Barrier Beach Management provides management services to Condominiums, Cooperatives and Homeowners Associations while having a stellar reputation in the industry. We opened our doors in January of 2010 and have built a large portfolio of properties with the vision of creating long lasting relationships with current and future properties. Barrier Beach Management is a technology based company that adapts to the always changing times. As we grow, we employ the best to build on our foundation. Jamie ShawJamie Shaw, President

Jamie has been managing residential properties for over ten years and comes from a family with a long history of Property Management. Jamie built Barrier Beach Management from the ground up by focusing on his core ethics of open communication, honesty, integrity and respect for other professionals in his field.

John VillanoJohn Villano

John Villano is the Assistant Property Manager with Barrier Beach Management since he joined the team in March of 2014. John holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from SUNY Farmingdale in which he graduated in the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society.

In addition to his property management background, John is also a Real Estate Agent with Universal Realty. John brings forward his business knowledge and excellent customer service skills to ensure that all clients and tenants receive the utmost care.

KathyKathy Dougherty

Kathy Dougherty has been a Property Manager with Barrier Beach Management since March of 2014. Kathy holds an associate degree from Kingsborough Community College.

Before joining the Barrier Beach Management team, Kathy worked in the accounting department of Delos Insurance Company for eight years. Prior to that she worked at A.G. Edwards and Sons, where she was promoted several times throughout her 13 years of service.

Kathy coordinates daily with the supers on site to ensure all responsibilities are complete and tenants are content and informed.

KeriKeri Mansueto

Keri Mansueto joined Barrier Beach Management last year. She is a valued member of our team and serves as the office manager. Prior to coming to work for Barrier Beach, Keri owned and operated two successful businesses; one in the construction industry and the other in medical billing, the later which opened doors for her to become an office administrator for a highly accredited cardiologist at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. Only her desire to be closer to her home in Island Park led her to change her position, and believe you me, the cardiologist was very sorry for the loss of Ms. Mansueto.

When not dealing so very proficiently with her varied tasks at BBM, and courteously assisting clients, Keri enjoys cooking, beach volleyball, boating, traveling and sharing a nice glass of wine with friends and loved ones. Her undying love for horses will always keep her a country girl at heart!

KentKent Leffel

Kent Leffel is the CFO of Barrier Beach Management. He proficiently leads the financial team. Kent oversees all monetary issues such as the preparation of the monthly maintenance invoices, the collection of the monthly dues, the preparation of the monthly financial reports and the preparation of the annual operating budget.
